Red Tour
The RED TOUR will last about 3-4 hours. We are moving from your location to the
center of Carrara
where we are going to visit the ancient zone walking along the narrow streets and there we are looking for the most important and characteristic building, church and statues that represents the history of Carrara from the middle age to the renaissance.
Then we are going by car to the Apuan Alps, we are visiting one of the most
ancient marble quarries still being
worked. After the tour into the quarry, we are visiting the ancient village of
Colonnata for a traditional
quarryman breakfast.
We are coming back along the spectacular road that 50 years ago a train covered bringing down to the sea marble blocks.
PRICE: 180 € (2 people) + 30 for each tourist that will join us in the tour. The tour is all inclusive.
